Tapu Misa (Columnist at the NZ Herald) and Chris Clarke (CEO World Vision) were speakers at the event CHILDREN MATTER in June 2012.  120 people gathered at the Cardrona in Mt Eden and were challenged to support areas of poverty and need in a 5km radius form where we live. As a result of this, Third Space, at St Georges,  has formed a  partnership with Te Papapa, which is a decile 2 school in the Onehunga area.

Twelve people have assisted with reading and literacy and others are helping with some music sessions. Also several young people have been assisting in their holiday breaks or when they are free. Contact us if you’d like to be involved.
